Advertising your home with us is a very easy process. If you live close to any of the events on our website then this is your chance to rent out your property and provide alternate accommodation for the travelling parties. As you may well know that finding accommodation for these events always proves extremely difficult as the demand for hotels, b&b's etc is so high resulting in them being booked up quickly. So fans travelling from around the world to attend the event will be seeking properties for their stay as an alternative and this is where you can offer a service. If you are interested in renting out your property then please follow these simple steps:
As a homeowner we are providing you with 2 options when renting out your home:
PLEASE SEE OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
Please Read: We want all homeowners to know that Acleshia are not like the rest and are not just after a quick buck by uploading your home and not doing anything for the money. Your mind can be at ease knowing that the directors are not taking a penny out of the company to go straight into their back pockets.
PLEASE SEE OUR FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS BELOW. IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION THAT IS NOT ANSWERED THEN PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO GET IN CONTACT WITH US. FAQ: Which option will best suit me? We have offered 2 options so you have more choice as a seller. The benefits of OPTION 1 is that you only pay £150 and you are in complete control of the sale of your house. But then OPTION 2 will cost you nothing to advertise your home (just a £35 admin fee for uploading your ad) so if your house for some reason does not sell then you have not lost a lot, we will also look after the renting out of your house and then once finalised we will take a small commission from the sale price. How much should I advertise my house for? Setting a price for your house depends on many factors e.g the closer you are to the event the more desirable your house will be, also factors like house size, amount of rooms (the more rooms you have then you can accommodate more people),tv, broadband etc etc also all play a big part. Also the condition of your home will play a major role. If you are having trouble at setting a price then contact us and we will be more than happy to help. How far should my house be from the event? Well the closer you are the more desirable your house will be but we would say that if you are within 30mins to an hour drive you should be fine. How long will my house be listed for? Your house will be listed once we recieve your details and got them online up until the start of the event. How do I make my payment to Acleshia? All payments can be made via our website or we will accept cheques if you prefer. What if I have made a mistake with the details of my house, can I change them? Yes absolutely, if at anytime you want us to change any details then we will do that at no additional cost (within reason). How do I arrange my house ready for visitors? This is entirely up to you. We would advise that you didn't leave anything valuable inside your property such as jewellery, cash and anything of a personal value. Things like clothes would also be a good idea to store away so the visitors can use the wardrobes and drawers for their own clothes and valuables. Just remember to leave everyday furnishings such as beds, tables, chairs, tv's etc. How should I handle booking enquiries? If you have chosen OPTION 1 then this is entirely up to you the property owner but we would recommend that when someone contacts you to book the property that you should ask for a non-refundable deposit (such as 10-15% of the asking price). Then we would recommend that the buyer pays you the rest on arrival. Or you can work something out between u and set up a contract that you both sign and agree to. If you have chosen OPTION 2 then we will deal with all bookings on your behalf. Can I put together a contract for the stay? Yes we would advise that its a good idea to come to an agreement between the homeowner and the travelling customer which you both sign. You may want to use one for when the exchanging of money will take place, you may also wish to involve a damage deposit that you will return when you have inspected the house after their stay. What do I do at the start and end of the rental period? You should be present when the guests arrive to hand over keys and provide them with any information they may need to know. You may also have agreed on taking a damage deposit so you can take that at the start of their stay and then return it on inspection with them at the end of their stay.
