The house is located just outside the historic and beautiful town of Chepstow, on the edge of the Forest of Dean, with breathtaking scenery of the countryside, forest and the River Wye.  This is a popular climbing area with easy access to many tourist attractions via a road network that connects to the M4 and M5 motorways within 10 minutes drive.

A large supermarket (Tesco) is 3 miles away.  There are local shops including a butcher/delicatessen and newsagent/convenience store just over 1 mile from the house and two local pubs, one which serves food within 5 minutes walk.
